Situated on the Mount Lindesay Highway, 21km north of Beaudesert, the township is the main commercial centre serving the rapidly developing rural residential estates in the northern part of the Beaudesert Shire.

Its population has swelled from about 800 in 1978, to 5,500 in 1996, and huge growth is expected over the next few decades.

PLEASE NOTE: Jimboomba is close to Brisbane. As a result, residents have ready access to all the services of a major city.
