Tullibigeal

Pioneer Park Tullibigeal is situated west of Ungarie between Lake Cargelligo and Condobolin and is affectionately known by the locals as Tulli.

The town began as a Cobb and Co stagecoach change station and today is a friendly town which enjoys a strong community spirit.

There is a strong sporting community and has tennis, netball, cricket and AFL football teams and facilities.

Attractions: At the Cockies Shed Lavender Farm, you will learn how lavender is grown, distilled and used. Lavender products made from the Cockies Shed lavender are available for sampling and purchase. Phone before hand to make an appointment. Accommodation and guest meals are available at the characteristic Mayfield Hotel which was first built in 1919. There are 2 cattle feedlots in the area and you can tour these but must call for an appointment first. Garden tours of impressive town and farm gardens are also a popular tourist attraction, and they can also be arranged by appointment. The biggest event on the calendar is the Gymkhana in October which draws a large crowd. The town also holds annual celebrations for Australia Day in January.

Return to Condobolin or visit another town.
